Friends of the Pennsylvania Military Museum

The Friends of the Pennsylvania Military Museum is a not-for-profit membership organization established in partnership with the Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission to:

  • Promote interest in the military museum
  • Assist with projects in the museum and on the grounds
  • Provide and facilitate educational programming
  • Establish fundraising activities in order to accomplish the above-stated and related purposes

Friends Mission Statement:  To protect and preserve, for future generations, the legacy of Pennsylvanians who served in the military of the United States, and to support the Pennsylvania Military Museum and the 28th Division Memorial Shrine.

Friends Membership Entitlements Include:

  • Free admission to the museum during the year
  • Free on-site parking during special events where a fee is collected
  • 25% discount on all purchases made in our gift shop and bookstore
  • Quarterly newsletter
  • Annual vote to elect Board members; vote on procedures and issues
  • Please join us in our efforts to preserve and enhance Pennsylvania's cultural heritage - become a Friends member today!

The Friends of the Pennsylvania Military Museum is a registered charitable organization. Friends & Volunteers:  Members of the Friends organization provide much-needed, invaluable volunteer support for a variety of tours, public outreach programs and special events offered throughout the season in addition to curatorial and clerical assistance.
