 20th century living history programs at the Pennsylvania Military Museum began on Memorial Day Weekend 1999.  Reenactors portraying L Company of the 109th Infantry Regiment, 28th Infantry Division bivouacked on the grounds that Saturday and Sunday entertaining and educating the public.  Since that time the event has become a Centre Region annual event with living history "junk-on-the-bunk" tours and an afternoon combat scenario against a German recon squad.

The iconic image of 2010 is of the American's moving out of the dense French countryside.  With steely determination CPL Pete Michel crosses the killing zone.
