SW2 Charles (Chuck) Johnson served eight years on active duty, including two deployments to the Middle East. Johnson is currently a Naval Reservist, preparing for a third deployment, though his full-time job is as the Museum Educator at the Erie Maritime Museum. His presentation will include a personal perspective of life and deployments in the Navy, post 9/11, and the involvement of the Seabees in supporting the War on Terror. Johnson’s unique perspective as a Seabee, and a Historian, affords him the ability to provide insight and context on the topic.
