Join the Pennsylvania Military Museum on Saturday, April 26, and Sunday, April 27, from 10AM-4PM for Over There: A World War I Experience. This living history weekend allows visitors to explore the different nationalities, cultures, and politics that influenced the First World War. By examining the War to End All Wars, the public is able to reflect upon the risks of complex alliances and the importance of diplomacy over violence. At 11AM, a historic weapons demonstration will showcase several pieces that were used during the conflict. At 1PM, families can participate in the History Mystery Kid’s Program, where children can “meet” soldiers of the era. This event is free and open to the public. Donations are encouraged. Museum merchandise will also be available for purchase. Contributions benefit the Pennsylvania Military Museum. There will also be a They Fell Silent: A Guided Shrine Tour on Saturday at 2PM.
