Join the Pennsylvania Military Museum and Local Historia on Saturday, August 2, at 6PM for Vietnam Remembered: A Cemetery Lantern Tour. History professor Jared Frederick will lead attendees through the tombstones of the Boalsburg Cemetery, highlighting stories of Vietnam veterans and their families. All tours begin at the “Honors to the Fallen” monument located at 305 North Church Street, Boalsburg. In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, this tour will be rescheduled. In most cases, though, all efforts will be made to still host the tour (with umbrellas if necessary). Participants will be contacted via email or social media at least one hour in advance if the event is canceled or rescheduled. Tickets can only be purchased through Local Historia. Admission is $15 per person and all sales are final. Donations are encouraged. Contributions benefit the Pennsylvania Military Museum.
