Facility Rental
The Pennsylvania Military Museum is preparing for a large scale capital project. The gallery will close to the public on Sunday, December 8th. As staff prepare for this project, the site’s theater will eventually be moved to “unavailable.”
Please contact the museum to learn more about availability of the site’s theater, all exterior spaces remain available at this time.

Be advised there is a minimum three week lead time for all facility use requests. There is no guarantee nor should there be any expectation that a facility use request can be honored inside of the minimum three-week window.
All events, rentals, and facility use requests are coordinated around the Calendar of Events for the Pennsylvania Military Museum, are subject to staff availability, and events that fall within our mission. All events, rentals, and facility use requests are subject to the approval of the Site Administrator, all rules and regulations of the Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission, and the applicable rules and regulations of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Grounds
The Front Parade Grounds provide ample space for many types of events, used in its entirety or only a portion therein; this is the area immediately in front of the Shrine adjacent to the Monuments surrounded by the walking-path.
Pavilion
Outdoor pavilion with adjacent parking, picnic tables, and trash receptacles. Note – the pavilion does not have electricity, water, or restrooms.
Theater
The museum theater has full audiovisual capabilities (projector, laptop hookup, surround sound, and seating). Depending on the type of event there is also a connected kitchen with outdoor entry for catering and supplies. Chairs and tables are also available.
New rental requests expecting more than 750 people will not be considered, must take place during regular business hours, and not on a federal or state holidays.
