Discovering WW1: From Boalsburg to France and Back

  • Pennsylvania Military Museum 51 Boal Avenue Boalsburg, PA, 16827 United States (map)

The recent centennial of World War I briefly brought this devastating conflict back into the news.

Mr. Robert Potter, a 40-year resident of Boalsburg, PA and passionate WWI researcher, will take a look at selected aspects of U.S. WW I involvement that he discovered through travel in the rural regions of France.

It was there he followed the story of the brave men who fought and died... totaling over 115,000 doughboys in under a year, and where 35,000 are buried or commemorated as missing in action in American WWI cemeteries.

Lecture will take place in the sites theater, and is free and open to the public. Donations appreciated.
